hackerHackers from the Islamic State jihadist group have attacked Iran’s national statistics institute, the country’s semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Wednesday. Employees could not access of the national statistic institute’s computer systems and when they tried to log on got a message on their screens reading “Hacked by Daesh [the Arabic name for IS]”, Mehr said. The national statistics office did not immediately comment on the report.
